Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will drop, yet remain from 5 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by superficial high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general, meanwhile it will be cold at night, warning against frost over the mountains and fog over the inland and northern areas, al-Qalamoun and al-Ghouta.
The wind will be of changeable direction to northeastern with a low speed, and the sea waves will low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:
Damascus 20/5, Daraa 21/7, Homs 18/6, Hasaka 20/8, Tartous 21/12, Deir Ezzor 20/8
