Algiers , SANA- Syria’s Ambassador to Algeria, Dr. Numeir Wahib al-Ghanim , discussed on Thursday with the Algerian trade minister , Kamel Rezig , means to enhance trade exchange between the two countries and to open Algerian markets in front of the Syrian products.
Rezig affirmed the Algerian government’s willingness to cooperate with Syria and its keenness to enhance economic and trade relations with the Syrian side through the bilateral economic agreements signed between the two sides and the restoration of the role of The Syrian -Algerian Businessmen Council.
He pointed out to the importance of encouraging investments between the two sides, particularly in the framework of the reconstruction process which take place in Syria, adding that Algeria is in the process of signing the African Free Zone Agreement, which will serve approximately 1.2 billion People in the African continent.
For his part, Ambassador al-Ghanim stressed that the Syrian state is determined to go ahead in the political policy process to achieve the interests of the Syrian people and eliminate the remnants of terrorist organizations, supported by the US and Turkish occupation, in Syria.
