Temperatures to drop, rain expected over coastal and western areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop, yet remain from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied with southwesterly and wet air currents in the upper layers of atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be between clear to partly cloudy, while rain is expected over the coastal and western areas.

The wind will be southeasterly of low speed, at night it will turn to become southwestern of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 19/7, Daraa 19/8, Homs 22/6, Lattakia 21/13, Aleppo 15/7 and Deir Ezzor 22/8.
