Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Saturday announced that 111 new coronavirus cases were recorded, adding that 45 coronavirus patients recovered and 9 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the registered coronavirus cases in Syria has reached up to 10,932 cases, of which 5,093 have recovered and 669 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first coronavirus death was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
