Celebration of Syrian Culture Days kicks off at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Culture Days’ celebration kicked off on Monday at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus under the title “My culture is My identity” that includes more than 90 different activities in the domains of arts, drama and heritage.

The event will last until next Thursday in different Syrian provinces.

On the sidelines of the celebration, a gallery that brought together 23 pictures and 8 sculpture works for artists in the 80^th and 90^th of the last century was inaugurated.

Minister of Culture, Lubana Mshaweh, affirmed in an opening speech that the Celebration of the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry is a celebration for a renewed original culture which was targeted by a fierce war that sought to distort it, pointing out that the Syrian culture is rich with its diversity.
