Aleppo, SANA- Workers of General Establishment of Syrian Railways continue their efforts to rehabilitate railways of the trains that link Aleppo to Damascus after it had stopped for 8 years due to terrorist attacks, despite the difficult weather conditions and with hand and mechanical work that needed to double efforts in light of the absence the modern technique means for maintenance because of economic siege imposed on Syria.
Head of the Establishment, Dr. Najeb al-Faress, told SANA reporter that efforts are being exerted to rehabilitate and maintain the railway from Aleppo to Damascus passing through Hama and Homs with a length of 400 km.
The railways came under sabotage as a result of acts of terrorism.
