25 killed, 804 injured in powerful earthquake that hit western Turkey

Istanbul, SANA-The death toll from the earthquake that struck the Aegean Sea and rocked Turkey and Greece rose to at least 25 while 804 have been wounded.

Turkish Anadolu News Agency quoted the disaster and emergency management in the country as saying that the death toll rose today to 25, one of them died by drowning, while the number of injured reached at 804.

It indicated that a new earthquake, with five degrees on the Richter scale, was recorded this morning at a depth of 7.3 k near m Izmir province to the west of Turkey.
