Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the south accompanied by southwestern air currents in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be moderate between clear and partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected accompanied with thunder in the western and al-Qalamoun areas, and it will be misty in the eastern areas and al-Badia. The weather will be cold at night on the mountains and the winds will be southwestern of low to moderate in speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 31/18, Homs 30/17, Hasaka 32/14, Lattakia 29/23, Aleppo 31/16 and Deir Ezzor 33/17.
