More infections and deaths of Coronavirus recorded worldwide

Capitals, SANA- The Health Ministry in Mexico announced the registration of 3,948 new cases of Coronavirus and 226 deaths as the infections in the country reached up to 560,164 while the death toll climbed to 60,480.

In turn, the Health Ministry in Brazil said 23,421 new Coronavirus infections and 494 deaths have been registered in the past 24 hours bringing the total number of infections to 3 million and 605,783 cases, while the death toll amounted to 114,744.

In China, the National Health Committee said that it has registered 16 new infections in the mainland as the total number of confirmed infections in the Chinese mainland reached up to 84,967, whereas the number of deaths remained 4,634.

In South Korea, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Monday, that the total number of infected persons with Coronavirus rose to 17,663 with an increase of 264 while the total number of deaths reached up to 309 cases.

In Japan, the Ministry of Health announced that the number of the confirmed coronavirus infections has risen to 63,219 cases, after 746 new infections were registered during the past 24 hours, where 7 new deaths were registered bringing the number of deaths to 1,189 cases.

Meanwhile, India recorded 61,468 new infections over the past 24 hours as the total number of infected people in the country amounted to three million and 44,000 people.

In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute “RKI” for Infectious Diseases on Monday showed an increase of infections as 711 cases have been recorded bringing the total number of infections to 233,575, while three deaths were registered as the death toll of the epidemic reached up to 9,272.

In turn, the Australian State of Victoria announced 15 new deaths due to the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours and 116 new infections.

In the Arab world, the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 103 new infections and 19 deaths taking the total number of infections to 97,340 cases including 5,262 deaths.
