Beirut, SANA – The Lebanese judiciary has issued a decision preventing all media outlets operating in the country from conducting interviews or taking statements from the U.S. Ambassador in Beirut, Dorothy C. Shea, for one year.
Lebanese media said that the interim relief judge in Tyre city Mohammad Mazeh issued a decision that prevents all the Lebanese and foreign media operating in Lebanon from conducting any interviews or taking any statements from the American Ambassador in Lebanon for one year under penalty of suspension and paying fines.
This decision comes after a lawsuit promoted by statements made by Shea in which she had interfered in Lebanese internal issues and voiced provocative stances against the resistance.
