Damascus, SANA-Health ministry announced on Saturday that 6 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria and 3 others recovered.
The Ministry added in a statement that the 6 new infected cases were among persons who had been in contact with the infected persons in Ras al-Ma’ara town, raising the number of infections in Syria to 170 ones.
It affirmed that 3 coronaviruses have recovered, raising the total number of the recovered to 71.
The ministry clarified that the total number of infections in Syria reached 170, where 71 cases have recovered and 6 have passed away.
The first coronavirus infected person in Syria was registered on March 22th and the first death in the virus was on 29th of the same month.
