Provinces, SANA – Army operations targeting members of terrorist organizations continued on Saturday, with the army units leaving many of those dead or wounded in a number of areas across the country.
Damascus Countryside
Army units expanded their control over the town of Zebdin and its farms in the southern part of the Eastern Ghouta area in Damascus Countryside, providing safe passage for locals, destroying a number of terrorist hideouts, and eliminating a number of terrorists, some of them of non-Syrian nationalities including a Jordanian called Suhail Obaidat.
Other units carried out precise strikes against terrorist hideouts in the farms of al-Zamaniye village which is near the town of al-Nashabiye in Douma area, destroying a number of vehicles which were transporting terrorists on the road between al-Zamaniye and al-Nashabiye.
The army also destroyed a number of terrorist hideouts and a vehicle along with the terrorists on board in the town of Deir al-Asafir.
Also in Douma area, an army operation in the town of al-Shefouniye east of Douma city resulted in the death of no less than 15 terrorists, while more terrorists were killed in similar operations in Tal Kurdi farms northeast of the city.
Other units destroyed terrorist hideouts and killed terrorists in the town of Erbin on the outskirts of Eastern Ghouta, in addition to eliminating a number of terrorists in the town of Zamalka.
In Harasta area, an army unit clashed with terrorists and inflicted losses upon them near Saladin Mosque, while a vehicle along with the terrorists inside it in Harasta’s northern farms.
At the same time, army units concentrated their operations in several parts of Jobar neighborhood, resulting in the death of many terrorists including Adnan al-Beik, who was the leader of a terrorist group from the terrorist organization “Al-Rahman Legion.”
Near the Syrian-Lebanese borders, army units destroyed terrorist hideouts and vehicles at al-Zamrani and al-Hamra crossings and in Karam Valley in the wilderness outside Qara, in addition to repelling an infiltration attempt by a terrorist group who attempted to move towards the surroundings of Ras al-Maa’ra town in the western part of al-Qalamoun area, leaving most of the group’s members dead or injured.
Homs
Army units killed many terrorists in Housh al-Taleb in Talbiseh area and in Ein Hussein al-Janoubi and al-Billan to the east of al-Rastan area in the countryside of the central province of Homs. A number of terrorists were also killed in al-Waer neighborhood in the city.
Aleppo
An army unit eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts along with the weapons and ammo inside them and several of their vehicles in Byanoun, Mare’a, Qadi Askar, Bab al-Nairab, al-Khalidiye, al-Manasher, Majbal al-Uwaiqa, and northwest of Hanano housings in Aleppo and its countryside.
Idleb
Units of the armed forces killed many terrorists and destroyed several of their dens to the south of al-Buweiti village, Basames, and in Saraqeb city 19 km east of Idleb city.
SANA reporter quoted a military source as saying that the terrorists’ dens were destroyed along with the weapons and ammunition inside them.
Members of terrorist organizations were left dead and wounded as army units targeted them in Bsames village, which is located in the northern part of Jabal al-Zawieh.
The source said a number of the terrorists’ dens and gatherings in the village were destroyed in the operations.
Another army unit eliminated a number of terrorists in the surroundings of Kafr Lata town.
Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social networking pages the death of Khaled al-Amouri from al-Buweiti, who is leader of the so-called “Al-Iqtiham Division” within “Ahrar al-Sham” terrorist organization.
Daraa
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists in the surroundings of al-Yarmouk School, al-Masri roundabout, and al-Nazihin Camp in Daraa al-Balad.
