Aleppo, SANA – Syrian Arab Army units expanded on Saturday its operations in the western and southwestern countryside of Aleppo, liberating the villages of Urom Kobra, Kfar Naha, Ajel, and Ojel after fierce clashes with terrorists of Jabhet al-Nusra and the groups affiliated with them.
SANA’s reporter said that units of the army continued military operations against the terrorist organizations in Aleppo southwestern countryside in the direction of Urom Kobra and Kfar Naha, carrying out intensified artillery and rocket strikes on the positions and fortification of terrorists, resulting in liberating Urom Kobra, Kfar Naha, Ajel, and Ojel, and inflicting losses in personnel and equipment upon the terrorists.
The reporter added that the army carried out rocket strikes on the terrorists’ fortifications in the Scientific-Research Center and al-Rashideen 1 on the road of Darret Eza, defeating the terrorists in these areas, and the army is continuing its operations in al-Rashideen 2 and 3 and al-Mansoura.
The reporter also said that other army units are continuing their operations in the northwestern countryside in the direction of Ma’art al-Naasan, engaging in fierce clashes with terrorist organizations which began fleeing towards the Turkish posts in the southwest.
