Damascus, SANA-Eleven Venezuelan companies that work in the domains of construction, mines, oil services, lights and health are taking part in the 61st round of Damascus International Fair.
Venezuelan Ambassador in Damascus Jose Gregorio Biomorgi told SANA that the Fair is very important as an economic activity because it provides an opportunity for the states to show their available capabilities and boost trade relations with Syria.
He pointed out to the existence of joint willingness in Syria and Venezuela to promote the economic relations to be at the level of their political ties, affirming that his country’s participation this year acquires special importance, particularly in light of the unilateral coercive measures imposed on both states.
The Ambassador hoped Venezuela participation in the Fair would give fruit to signing new agreements between the Venezuelan companies and the Syrian side.
