Moscow, SANA-Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev affirmed on Wednesday their determination to cooperate in the framework of Astana process to reach a solution to the crisis in Syria.
“The two presidents decided to continue efforts to solve the crisis peacefully in the framework of Astana in light of rules of the international law,” A joint statement said after talks held between the two Presidents in Kremlin.
Eleven meetings were held in the formula of Astana, one of them was held in Sochi, where all of them stressed commitment to Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
