Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed on Tuesday with Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad relations between Syria and Russia.
During the meeting that came after the ceremony of appointing Mr. Alexander Yefimov as a new Ambassador to Syria, the two sides discussed means of enhancing ties between the two states.
Lavrov hoped that a fruitful cooperation would be held between Mr. Yefimov and the Syrian state institutions in the interests of both countries.
Ambassador Haddad, for his part, described bilateral relations as “strategic and unlimited,” adding “We will cooperate with Mr. Yefimov to boost those relations in all domains.
