Bratislava, SANA–Former Slovak Prime Minister Ian Charnogorski stated that Syria is nearing a complete victory against terrorism, which will allow Syria to reestablish its political role in the region.
Charnogorski, in an article titled “Victorious Syria” published on a Slovak website upon he returned from Syria, noted that Syria is the cradle of civilization due to the historical heritage it has. Moreover, the former prime minister also hailed the steadfastness shown by the Syrian people despite the harsh conditions of the war.
The former PM acknowledged the fact that the EU has no independent political will outside the one of the US.
