Homs, SANA-Seven citizens were killed and another 24 were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Shinshar bridge on Homs-Damascus Highway.
“A passenger bus coming from Damascus en route to Lattakia has overturned because of excessive speed on the international Homs-Damascus highway near the bridge leading to Shinshar village, 15 km south of Homs city. Seven citizens were killed and another 24 sustained various injuries and fractures,” Homs police chief Khaled Hilal told SANA.
Rescue and civil defense teams rushed the accident’s site and evacuated the wounded to Homs hospitals, he added.
