Temperatures continue to rise, skies clear

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to gradually rise to become around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and misty in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia desert. The winds will be northwestern between low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 29/16, Daraa 28/15, Homs29/17, Hama 31/17, Lattakia 29/20 Aleppo 28/15 and Deir Ezzor 31/18.
