Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy and local rains will fall over the southern and southeastern areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badyia (desert) areas.
The wind will be easterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/7, Daraa 15/8, Homs 17/5, Lattakia 19/1, Aleppo 15/6 and Deir Ezzor 18/8.
