Damascus, SANA-The Cabinet outlined on Tuesday the main factors of the government’s work during 2018 for post-war Syria period, the ministerial programs and the implementation of the national project for the administrative reform.
The cabinet, in its weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, set the plans of the ministries in order to achieve comprehensive development in all fields, calling on all ministries promote work up to the level of the victories of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces.
It also demanded each ministry to review the work carried out during 2017 and assist their work to achieve the aspired-for goals, as well as carrying out the service, educational, health and energy plans in the province of Deir Ezzor and complete the return of all state institutions and ensure the various requirements in a manner that reflects the aspirations of the people.
For his part, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Ghanem briefed the Cabinet on the service projects that are being worked out in the province of Deir Ezzor within the framework of what was allocated as a preliminary plan worth to SYP 6 billion, stressing that the priority now is for the return of people to their areas of residence in the province, provide services and activate the institutional work in the area.
In turn, Minister of Agriculture Ahmad al-Qadiri pointed out that more than SYP 3 billion will be allocated to support the livestock sector.
