The Cabinet discusses Customs bill

Damascus, SANA – In its weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, the Cabinet discussed for the second time the new Customs bill and referred it through the proper channels to be issued.

The Cabinet charged the Ministries of Local Administration and Environment, Public Works and Housing, and Justice to develop a legislation for each real estate area in a manner that suits its characteristics and provides the necessary facilitations for it.

The Cabinet called on all ministries to set up a clear training plan for each of them in accordance with their specialization to raise the efficiency of employees.

The Cabinet also set up criteria for organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops by the public and private sectors.

Information Minister Mohammad Ramez Tourjman gave a presentation on the measures taken to restructure the ministry and its affiliates and enhance the role of the media, particularly in the field of development.
