Damascus, SANA – Deputy Speaker of the People’s Assembly Najdat Anzour stressed that the Syrian army will continue its war against terrorism till restoring security and stability to all Syrian territories.
Ansour was speaking to the Syrian-Lebanese Club in Argentina delegation headed by its representative Jawdat Ibrahim and Ricardo Nasser.
He underlined the importance of this visit which will contribute to further strengthen relations with Syrian expatriayes in Argentina and other countries, noting to forming a Syrian-Argentinean friendship commission with the aim of enhancing Syria’s relations with international parliaments.
For his part, Ibrahim said that the visit came to express solidarity with the homeland and the Syrian people, in addition to inspecting the reality of what is taking place on the ground as well as the country’s requirements of food and health materials in order to provide them through the Syrian community in Argentina.
In a similar context, Anzour met a Mauritanian parliamentary delegation where stress was laid on Syria’s ability to achieve victory in its war against terrorism thanks to the steadfastness of its people, army and leadership.
Anzour reiterated that Syria will not deviate from its firm stance towards the joint Arab work, rather it will continue to support the Palestinian cause and fight against Israeli entity, noting that the media misleading campaigns aimed at conveying a distorted false image of the reality of events in Syria.
He highly appreciated Mauritania’s support to Syria, highlighting the importance of boosting Syrian-Mauritanian cooperation and reactivating relations between the two countries in a way that serves the interests of their peoples.
Head of the Mauritanian delegation, Mohammed Weld Fal expressed the Mauritanian government’s readiness to further improve economic and cultural cooperation with Syria, adding that the Syrian-Mauritanian diplomatic relations remained strong despite the war and the pressure exerted on the Mauritanian Embassy by some Arab and foreign states.
He renewed his country’s support to Syria, expressing confidence that Syria will achieve victory over terrorism.
