Damascus, SANA – Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Fahd Jassem al-Freij injured Army and Armed Forces personnel at Martyr Yousef al-Azmeh Hospital in Damascus, relaying to them the greetings of President al-Assad and wishes for recovery.
During the visit, al-Freij asserted that the army’s victories against terrorist organizations wouldn’t have been possible without the sacrifices of the martyrs and injured members of the army.
The medical staff briefed al-Freij about the injured soldiers’ conditions and the services provide to them, with the Minister lauding the efforts of the hospital’s medical staff for treating the injured so that they may recover as soon as possible.
