Damascus countryside, SANA- Under the title “Through our pens and with our Army, we protect the Homeland,” and with the participation of 100 journalists in Damascus countryside, activities of the Media Forum was inaugurated on Friday.
The event is organized by Damascus branch of the Revolution Youth Union.
Ahamd Aresha, Secretary of the Union’s in Damascus countryside said at the opening speech that the gathering aims at providing the youth journalists with the media terms and tools, hailing the important role of the youths in building societies and developing them.
For her part, Director of the Gathering Safaa Dayoub, talked about the important role of the Union in teaching the youth and preparing them, scientifically and practically, to meet their interests and aspirations.
She added the gathering includes a number of lectures and applications related to the media work like introducing the youth to the methods of making the news, discussing the news techniques and making use of the expertise of the journalists working in the national media.
The 5-day gathering is held at al-Saboura town in Damascus countryside.
