Damascus, SANA – Temperatures tend to drop slightly to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy to partly cloudy, with a chance of rain showers accompanied by thunder.
The wind will be southeasterly of low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/10, Daraa 20/12, Homs 17/08, Lattakia 22/13, Aleppo 21/08 and Deir Ezzor 21/11.
