Damascus, SANA – Temperatures tend to drop to become around average or slightly above as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure from the south accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, noting that rain showers accompanied by thunder are expected during the afternoon and evening over several areas in the country.
The wind will be southeasterly of low and moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 14/06, Daraa 15/08, Homs 19/03, Hama 21/08, Lattakia 21/13, Aleppo 18/06, and Deir Ezzor 20/07.
