Wednsday weather: Temperatures below average, snowfall expected in northeastern area

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become 5 to 8 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a wet and cold air mass.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general with chances of snowfall in the northeastern areas, warning of the formation of ice and frost during the night hours in most areas.
The winds will be eastern to southwestern of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 06/01, Daraa 08/02, Homs 07/00, Hama 09/-1, Lattakia 09/07, Aleppo 06/01 and Deir Ezzor 08/02.
