Hama, SANA – The Criminal Security Department in Hama confiscated amounts of narcotic pills prepared to be pushed in Jibrin neighborhood in the city of Hama.

A source at Hama Police Command told SANA Thursday that the personnel of Hama Criminal Security Department raided a hideout in Jibrin neighborhood in Hama city and confiscated 1000 pills of Captagon prepared to be pushed.

The source added that the security personnel arrested one of the drug pushers, asserting that the security personnel continue pursuing the rest of the gang’s members in order to arrest and prosecute them.

Last December,500 pills of Captagon and an amount of Hashish and counterfeit currency were seized and 7 persons that had been pushing drugs and counterfeit currency were arrested in al-Hamidiyeh neighborhood in the city according to
the department.
