Damascus, SANA – Temperatures are rising to become around average or slightly above as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, warning of frost formation over the mountains and of fog in some inland areas.
The winds will be westerly of low speed, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 15/05, Daraa 15/05, Homs13/0, Hama 14/1, Lattakia 17/04, Aleppo 13/05 and Deir Ezzor 14/06 .
