Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds and the weather will be cold at night in most areas. Frost is expected over the mountains and most of the inland areas.
The wind will be northeasterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/1, Daraa 16/5, Homs 19/0, Lattakia 24/8, Aleppo 15/1
and Deir Ezzor 17/1.
