Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain around average as the country is still affected by the superficial seasonal low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain showers over the northwestern and coastal areas, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/16, Daraa 31/17, Homs 29/17, Lattakia 30/24, Aleppo 35/18 and Deir Ezzor 37/23.
