Damascus, SANA – The temperatures continue to drop to become around average as the country is still affected by a seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
According to the Wednesday bulletin of the Meteorology Department, skies are going to be clear to partly cloudy in general with chance of rain showers over the northwestern and coastal areas, while misty weather is expected to prevail in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly with light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/17, Daraa 31/18, Homs 29/16, Lattakia 30/23, Aleppo 35/18 and Deir Ezzor 35/21.
