Provinces, SANA – The army continues operations against the terrorist organizations, hitting their positions and centers in various areas and leaving many of their members dead or injured, in addition to destroying their vehicles and equipment.
Daraa
The army killed a number of terrorists, mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra, in operations that targeted their positions the neighborhoods of Tariq al-Sad, al-Abazid, al-Bahar and al-Bado quarter in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city, a military source said on Sunday. A number of mortars used by the terrorists for shelling safe neighborhoods were destroyed in the operations.
A military source said that an army unit destroyed an ISIS fuel tanker truck to the east of al-Mlaiha al-Sharqiya in Daraa eastern countryside.
Homs
The Syrian Air Force destroyed vehicles for ISIS terrorist organization and killed a number of its members south of Palmyra city and in Ark village and al-Sukhneh town in Homs eastern countryside.
Deir Ezzor
A number of vehicles for ISIS terrorists were hit and destroyed in army airstrikes in Tallet al-Sufouf in the eastern Deir Ezzor province.
Quneitra
The army units carried out intensive operations against Jabhat al-Nusra linked terrorists’ gatherings and movement axes in the northern countryside of Quneitra .
SANA reporter said Sunday that the military operation targeted terrorist groups’ movement on the axis of Tel Hamriya to the south of Hadar and the area surrounding al-Amal Farms in the northern countryside.
The operation, according to the reporter, left a number of terrorists killed or injured and destroyed a vehicle with all terrorists on board.
The reporter added that one of Jabhat al-Nusra organization self-proclaimed leader Mohammad Yousuf Subaihi, nicknamed Abu Qenoah and one of the so-called al-Sabtain brigade self-proclaimed field leader Omar Ibrahim al-Ahmad were identified among the killed terrorists.
Hama
Army units destroyed positions and heavy-equipped vehicles for terrorist organizations affiliated to the so called “Jaish al-Fatah” in the northern countryside of Hama.
A military source said that the Syrian army air force and artillery directed intensive strikes on the positions, gatherings and supply routes of terrorist organizations in the area surrounding the towns of Maan and Soran, south and west of M’ardes, the towns of Tayybet al-Imam, Morek, Halfaya, al-Latamineh, Kafr Zeta and Tallet al-Nasria in Hama northern countryside.
During the strikes, one of terrorist groups’ crossing points was destroyed along with 9 vehicles near Halfaya Bridge and a cannon in addition to killing and injuring a number of “Jaish al-Fateh” members.
