Mechanisms to activate Joint Syrian-Indian Committee discussed

Damascus, SANA – Prime Minister Imad Khamis discussed with the visiting Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Mubashir Javed Akbar mechanisms to activate the Joint Syrian-Indian Committee.

They aim at boosting joint work to revive the economic agreements and deepen cooperation relations.

Khamis stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts against terrorism, voicing his appreciation of India’s supportive stance towards Syria.

The Indian Minister, in turn, expressed his country’s keenness to develop relations with Syria and to have security and stability established in the region.
