Two Israeli soldiers killed in “training accident” in occupied Syrian Golan

Occupied Syrian Golan, SANA – Two Israeli soldiers were killed and two others were injured in a “training accident” in the occupied Syrian Golan on Sunday morning.

The Palestinian Ma’an news agency said the Israeli soldiers were on a “training” mission at a site near Majdal Shams town in the occupied Syrian Golan when the military vehicle that was transporting them came to a halt and a grenade that was in the possession of one of the soldiers went off for an unknown reason.

The soldier who was carrying the grenade was killed along with another one next to him, while two others, including an officer, were injured.

The news agency said the so-called northern area commander in the Israeli army has ordered a committee to be formed to investigate into the “accident”.
