Legislative decree on holding registration real estate rights in rem at closed real estate offices due to security situation

Damascus, SANA, President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday issued legislative decree No. 11 for the year 2016 over holding registration real estate rights in rem at the legally authorized bodies for keeping property records in the closed real estate offices due to emergency security situation.

The decree authorizes the concerned minister to define the holding start and end based on a proposal of the concerned governor.

Heads of real estate documentation departments, at real estate directorates which announce holding registration, are to keep separate daily records for real estate procedures called complementary daily record.

According to the decree, no registration or registered document at the real estate office, issued by the closed office during the holding period of the office, will be taken thoroughly.
