Monday weather: temperatures above average, skies clear

Damascus, SANA-The temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia “desert” areas.

The wind will northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will be from 3 to 5 degrees above average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the southern, eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia areas, and local rain showers are expected in the northern and the coastal areas at night.

The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 30/17, Daraa 28/13, Homs 30/16, Hama 31/16, Hasaka 29/17, Lattakia 26/17, Aleppo 34/16 and Deir Ezzor 36/18.
