Beijing, SANA, Syrian Alaa Abdel-Salam, member of the National Team for Special Sports, won Gold Medal of Javelin competitions in Chinese Grand Prix by scoring 16,94 meters.
Secretary of the Special Sports Federation Hanei Al-Wez told SANA Sunday that Abdel-Salam’s participation in the Chinese Grand Prix is part of the Federation’s plan for promoting performance of the National Team players to achieve records that qualify them for RIO 2016 Paralympic games which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, next September.
