A car bomb kills 34, injures 125 in Ankara

Ankara, SANA- A car bomb blast killed 34 and wounded 125 people in central Ankara Sunday night.

The blast killed 34 people and wounded 125 others, 19 of them seriously, Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu said.

“Thirty people were killed on the spot and four others died in hospital,” Muezzinoglu said.
It is the second major attack in Ankara in less than a month, after 29 people were killed in a car blast.

Democratic People’s Party (HDP) in Turkey condemned the attack and offered condolences to the victims’ families.

Sunday blast comes after Turkish authorities declared curfew over Nusaybin and Yuksekova cities in the southeastern part of the country before large-scale operations.
