Provinces, SANA- Committees tasked with receiving applications for parliamentary elections in various provinces continue to receive applications of citizens who wish to run for elections and inform them of the required papers.
Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections Judge Hisham al-Sahaar said in a statement to SANA “We had contacts with the committees that receive application requests to run for parliamentary elections in various provinces which show that there are a good number of citizens who are either applying for candidacy or enquiring about the required documents”.
Al-Shaar reaffirmed that committees that receive the applications in the headquarters of the judicial center of each province offer all the facilitations for those wishing to submit their requests, noting that there are citizens who inquire about the papers required to complement them and offer them to the Commission.
Official applications to run for the parliamentary elections for the second legislative round lasts until March 1st including Fridays and Saturdays from 8 o’clock in the morning till 8 o’clock pm.
Elections will take place on April 13th as defined in Decree No. 63 for the year 2016.
The Supreme Judicial Commitee said on February 24th that the committees found in the headquarters of the judicial center of each province receive applications until eight o’clock p.m. every day.
