Rabat, SANA- The Arab Civil Aviation Organization(ACAO) elected Syria as a member of the Air Safety Committee (Aviation Safety), at the end of the meetings of the 28th ordinary session of the General Assembly of the Organization at the level ministerial, held in Rabat, the Moroccan capital.
This committee is considered one of the most important technical committees of the Organization, in addition to (the Air Transport Committee, the Environment Committee, the Aeronautics Committee, the Financial and Administrative Control Committee) which prepare all technical work and projects, as well as themes submitted by the General Assembly or the Executive Council.
Syria participated through a delegation from the Ministry of Transport and the public civil aviation company in the meetings of the 28th session of the Assembly and the 69th session of the Executive Council, with the participation of member countries of the Organization between July 1st and 4th.
