Damascus, SANA Temperatures remain around average as the country is being affected by a low air pressure accompanied by western, wet and relatively cold
air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department said in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather is partly cloudy in general; rain showers are expected in various areas across the country, particularly over the coastal and northern region and al-Jazira area.
The expected temperature in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 17/08, Daraa 16/09, Homs 14/08, Hama 15/07, Hasaka 15/08, Lattakia 19/12 and Deir Ezzor 15/07.
The winds will be western of light to moderate in speed, while the sea waves will be of light amplitude.
On Thursday, temperatures will continue to drop to become lower than average, the skies will be clear to partly cloudy, rain showers are expected over various areas across the country.
