Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is being affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be relatively cold at night.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/10, Aleppo 20/9, Hama 21/9, Lattakia 24/12 and Homs 20/9.
