Two civilians injured in Terrorist blasts in Sweida, material damages in Daraa

Sweida, SANA- Two civilians were injured in terrorist attacks with three explosive devices in the northwestern countryside of the southern Sweida province Monday.

A source at Sweida Police Command told SANA that terrorists detonated three roadside bombs they had earlier planted on the sides of the old “al-Haj” road between Uraiqa and Remet al-Lahef towns in Al-Lajat area while a car was passing.

The blast left two civilians injured in addition to material damage at the passing car, according to the source.

A similar terrorist attack on July 23rd left two civilians killed as an explosive device blast targeted al- Shaqqa-al-Bouthaina road in the northeastern countryside of the southern Sweida province.

Daraa

A source in Daraa province said in a statement to SANA reporter that a number of shells fell on locals’ houses in al-Sabeel, al-Matar, al-Sahari and Shamal al-Khat wiithout any casualties.

The source added that the terrorist attacks caused material damage to houses and infrastructure.
