Syrian economic delegation meets representatives of a number of Polish companies in Warsaw

Warsaw, SANA- The Syrian economic delegation, headed by Assistant Industry Minister Nidal Fallouh, met on Thursday a Polish delegation which represents a number of different, leading companies in the country.

During the meeting, Fallouh said that the Syrian market is in need for polish products in different domains, including nutritional, electric and agrarian ones after the destruction and sabotage caused by the terrorist organizations to a lot of private and public factories.

At the Syrian Embassy HQ in Warsaw,  Fallouh briefed a number of Polish journalists and media representatives on the talks and meetings the Syrian delegation has held with the Polish side, affirming that directors of the Polish companies have showed commitment to boost and develop cooperation with Syria and meet the demands of the Syrian market.

2Fallouh also talked about the grave damages which hit the economic and industrial sectors due to the armed terrorist organizations which targeted all life aspects in Syria, adding that the Syrian government has succeeded in rehabilitating a lot of companies and factories destroyed by the terrorist groups.

For her part, Director General of the Investment Commission Hala Ghazal briefed the journalists on the legislations and laws related to investment in Syria which offer a lot of incentives and facilitations to the foreign investors.

The Syrian delegation started a visit to Warsaw on October 18th upon an invitation from the Polish Chambers of Commerce and Industry to discuss best means to boost trade and economic cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
