20,000 school bags from UNICEF to 1st grade students in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA – Education Directorate in Hasaka province received on Tuesday 20,000 school bags provided by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The bags are allocated to first grade students in aid delivered in the framework of “Back to School” campaign announced earlier this month by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the UNICEF.

Ilham Sourkhan, Head of the Education Directorate, told SANA that 14,000 bags will be distributed to schools in Hasaka city, while the remaining 6,000 bags will be distributed to Qamishli schools.
