Homs, SANA- Russian Duma adviser Dr. Leonid Isayev affirmed that the Russian people know the truth about what is happening in Syria and are aware of the volume of disinformation against it, pointing out that Syria is at the forefront of counterterrorism.
Isayev, who is also chairman of Russian popular diplomacy delegation to the Arab world, made the comments during the delegation’s visit on Saturday to Wadi al-Nadara area, Krak des Chevaliers Citadel and Talkalakh city where they inspected the situation in the area and the damage due to terrorists’ acts before the army reestablished stability and security.
“It is the duty of the Russian people to stand by the Syrians till they reach the shores of safety” Isayev said, hailing the sacrifices of Syrian Arab Army.
For his part, Dr. Fayez Hoala, the external relations official at the Syrian Arab community administration in Russia, pointed out that the delegation came to Syria to have a close look at the situation in it.
Hoala expressed the solidarity of Syrians in Russia with their motherland and their support for the Syrian Army.
The delegation are staying in Syria till September 17, organizing events in number of Syrian provinces.
