Army establishes control over a district in al-Zabadanai, repels attack on military airport in Idleb

Provinces, SANA- The army continued to launch wide-scale operations against the terrorist organizations’ hotbeds, positions and hideouts across the country, killing scores of their members and injuring others.

Al-Zabadani, Damascus Countryside

Army units, in cooperation with the Lebanese Resistance, established control over al-Mas district in al-Zabadani city, making new advance in terms of tightening the noose around the remaining terrorists in central al-Zabadani, located to the northwest of Damascus.

A military source told SANA that the terrorist organizations lost all of their positions to the last one in the district, noting that a facility for making explosive devices was found during the combing operations.

Idleb

The army forces defending Abu al-Duhour Military Airport repelled terrorists from the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” who infiltrated into the surroundings of the airport, which is located 50 km south east of Idleb city.

The source explained that the terrorists infiltrated from the eastern side of the airport, but were confronted by the army units that inflicted heavy losses upon them.

The source explained that the army units destroyed a car bomb which the terrorists used in their attack attempt before it managed to reach the airport’s entrance, adding that fierce clashes erupted there, that ended up in many deaths in the terrorists’ ranks.

Aleppo 

 

An army unit killed numbers of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in Arbid village and the vicinity of the Academy Air Force in Aleppo province.

Another army unit targeted terrorist organizations’ hideouts and gatherings, killing a number of their members and injuring others in Kfr Hamra village in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo province.

The army targeted terrorists’ hotbeds in the neighborhoods of al-Jadeeda, al-Rashedeen4, al-Lairamoun, Beni Zeid, al-Ramousah,al-Saleheen and al-Halak in Aleppo city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition.

Lattakia

24 terrorists killed, 36 injured 

At least 24 terrorists were killed in an army operation in the countryside of the coastal province of Lattakia.

Field sources told SANA that 24 terrorists were killed and a terrorist organizations’ weapon cache was destroyed in a special military operation at al-Kabir village in the countryside of Lattakia coastal province.

Other 36 terrorists were injured during the operation, the source added, pointing out that Army strikes destroyed a training camp of terrorists that come from Turkmenistan, a weapon cache, a communication station and a big number of vehicles inside of it.

Sweida

In the southern Sweida province, an army unit foiled an armed terrorist group’s attempt to infiltrate into Tal Thalfaa area in the northwestern countryside.

The source added that the army unit clashed with the armed terrorist group, killing scores of its members, while the rest fled.

On Monday , a unit of the army and armed forces killed scores of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorists at the northeastern countryside of Sweida province Monday.

Homs

Army units killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles during an intensive operation targeting their dens and gatherings in Tal al-Dabboor and al-Ghajar village to the south of Homs city.

An army unit targeted terrorists’ gatherings to the east of Kisin village, killing many of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition, while another army unit killed members of terrorist group along with their leader and destroyed their weaponry and ammo in Hosh Hajo village to the east of Talbeiseh area.

Terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of many of their members in Hosh Hajo village, including Ahmad Ghazi al-Hadhoud and Mohamed Abad Kalila.
