Damascus, SANA- Minister of Education Hazwan al-Waz on Wednesday dismissed as false the rumors promoted by some electronic and social networking websites on delaying the date of the academic year 2015/2016.
Minister al-Waz, in a press statement, stressed that the next academic year will start on Sunday, Sept.13th after the ministry had finished all the required preparations.
He indicated that all information on the educational process can be obtained through the official website of the ministry or the Syrian Education TV.
Last July, Ministry of Education set the start date of the academic year 2015/2016, on Sept. 13th at all the official and private schools with all of their stages and specialties.
